Q. Why choose David A. Tubby & Co. to be my personal injury solicitor?
We are one of the leading firms in our field and have built a reputation, which is second to none, through our previous successes. We are regulated by the Law Society of England & Wales, and employ members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), so you can be sure that you will receive the highest standards of service at all times.
With us, you will receive 100% of your damages. Unlike some firms, we will not deduct one single penny of your personal injury compensation for our costs and, in the unlikely event that we lose, you will still not be charged. We represent more than 3,000 people each year on this basis and have tens of thousands of satisfied clients.

Q. Will I deal with you directly?
YES. When you make an online claim, your details arrive on the desk of one of our own dedicated legal professionals, who will then call you back.
Beware of the hundreds of Claims Management companies that will offer to handle your claim for you. They are simply middlemen who charge solicitors, like ourselves, a large fee for referring your claim and usually have no legal training.

Q. How much will my personal injury claim cost me?

NOTHING. If your claim is successful, we will recover all our costs from the other side. Furthermore, David & Tubby & Co. operates on a no win no fee basis by way of a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) so, in the unlikely event that we don't win your case, you still won't pay our legal fees.

Q. Can I claim if I live outside England and Wales?
YES. As long as the accident happened in England, Scotland or Wales, we can accept your claim, regardless of where you live in the UK.

Q. How do I make a claim?

The fastest way to make a claim is to complete our online claim form. If you would like to ask us a question first, simply complete our online enquiry form or, if you would rather speak with a member of our staff, please call us on Freephone 0500 003 972.

Q. What happens after I submit my online claim?

If you gave an email address, you should receive confirmation of your claim by email within minutes and can expect to hear from us by telephone within 48 hours on the numbers you have provided. Please make sure you are available.

Q. What damages can I claim for?

If you have been injured and someone else is to blame, you can claim compensation for your injuries, the cost of medical fees and any other losses, including loss of earnings.

Q. How much will I get?

Unfortunately, without knowing the precise extent of your injuries, it is impossible to say. However, see our injury compensation guide for more examples.

Q. Who do I claim against?

This depends on the circumstances of your accident. Typical examples are:
• If you trip on a pavement, a claim may be made against the local council;
• If it was a medical accident, you may have to claim against the hospital, GP or dentist involved;
• If you slip on flooring in a shop, then you may sue the shop or the owner of the property where you were injured.
Don't worry if your circumstances are not listed above. These are just examples. Claim now to see if you are entitled to compensation.

Q. What if the accident was nobody else's fault?

If there is any doubt that the accident was NOT your fault, we won't be able to help you on this occasion. In this instance, if you have had a road traffic accident, you should contact your insurance company and follow their advice.

Q. How long do I have after my accident to make an injury claim?

You have 3 years from the date of your accident to make a claim. If you were under 18 years of age when the accident happened, you have until your 21st birthday to make a claim for compensation (see our page on child injury).

Q. What if I am the victim of a criminal assault?

If your injuries are the result of a criminal assault, this is known as a CICA claim. We will then refer you to Victim Support and the Citizens Advice Bureau.
